4. Shading can be done with a very light wash of purple, made with cobalt blue and rose madder genuine. Since this is a yellow flower I chose purple because it the opposite of yellow. The transparent colours make great glazes for this purpose. This wash, over the dried yellows, is very faint just a blush. | |
