Pansy Lesson 2
Pansy Lesson 2
 2. Leaving the center for last (do not paint it now), paint a petal with aureolin yellow. While still wet lay in new gamboge (or a more orange yellow) to form folds in petal. You can also paint the petal with aureolin then let that dry. After it dries you can place small triangles of new gamboge on sections of the petal's edge, and then pull the sides of the triangle to soften the edges. To make the petal curve down at the edge, just lay some new gamboge at the edge and pull the area of color with a damp brush.
